3 days ago, my husband and I went for a walk.  We got out of the driveway and waved hello to our neighbor.  My husband, of 19 years, had just had a therapy appointment, and I took our middle child to dinner.  I took her the long way home, so that he could have privacy for the virtual appointment.  He had been distant and quiet the whole week, and today it had come to a head.  I had texted him earlier letting him know that we were going to have to talk today or that I would have to start taking steps to feel emotionally safe.  Most recently that day, we had been texting about French fries, and leftovers…
